Father God, Holy God, Supreme Sovereign LORD God Creator; Father, whom might we look to if not unto You, so we look up, for as High as the Heavens, in any direction, ad infinitum, You are there, in You Father is asylum, a sweet resting and hiding place, under the wings of You, the Almighty, we find security, serenity, safety and peace.
Father, You are the Safe Habor, the calm place to anchor and tie ourselves to, after the storm, You are the stability of the earth and more, especially after the tumultuous tossing of the tidal waved seas of our lives.
Father, in You we find favor and label it amazing grace, we find rest for our souls and label it peace, we find happiness and label it joy, we find kindness, compassion, mercy, tender succor and nurturing and call it all, LOVE. Father, we give You, worship and praise, most worthy, most honorable, most glorious, Most High God! We thank You, that once more and again, we are found in the land of the living. Hallelujah!
Father, we bow before You, with a contrite and penitent heart, bearing all of our sins and transgressions, the soured fruits of our personal wilfulness, placing them at the foot of the cross, and there begging Your mercy, Your grace, Your forgiveness.
Father, in joy and thanksgiving we receive the blessed and faithful forgiveness, the washing and cleansing of the Blood of Jesus, the complete absolution and restoration unto holiness and righteousness. Father, Thou are God, there is none other, and our praise and worship reflect the depths of our gratitude, in our humility is the actualization of the fruit of the Holy Spirit, for Thou God, has worked a holy work in us, and we are thankful.
Father, may our devotions and dedications to Your service, our ministries, our worship be so marked, so clearly and distinctively representative of the Christ which is within us. Father may all the works of our hands, be consecrated and sanctified, may our lives show forth the very fruits of repentance, may our lips be the source of the dispensing of Your Holy Word, may that which flows from the very depths of our hearts, be pleasing in Your sight, and may our souls be stayed on Jesus. Father, bless us this day to be in fulfillment of Your Great Commandments of LOVE and the Great Commission to make disciples, as we venture forth into the world, yet remaining distinct from the world. Father bless us to be a very blessing.
