Father God, Holy God, praise Your holy name, we bow before you in earnest repentance of our sins. Every missed mark, every good work left undone, every selfish intention of our
hearts, every lustful, covetous, prideful and avaricious desire that rises from the carnal man within. We lay this all at the foot of the cross, thereby receiving the forgiveness bought at so great and precious a price as the very blood of God. Refreshed and renewed in perfection, cleansed in holiness, graced by grace. Hallelujah.
Father God, we are the church, the body of Christ and when we err we can get caught up in ego, religion, deceit, licentiousness, heresy, blasphemy, idolatry and any number of corporate or institutional sins, hindering the ministry, fellowship and the charge you have appointed unto us. When we are at our best, we are a joyous, anointed, power filled people, tearing down demonic strongholds, breaking bondage’s, setting free the captives, seeking and saving the lost, ministering unto the poor, providing salvation, healing and solace to those whom seek our sanctuary. Father bless us with everlasting unction to always be the latter and never the former, an edifying and enduring people, true believers, saints of the kingdom. Give us Father, the function of the unction that our witness be effective to the salvation of the lost, that the greater works would not be of history but our most glorious age would be presently, right now.
Father grant our prayer in loving kindness that all men would mark the Church blessed, and we the body of Christ would glorify your name, henceforth now and forever, in the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, amen.
