A Prayer of the Day

Father God, Holy, Mighty and Majestic, from everlasting to everlasting Thou art God, there is no other. Glory to Your Holy Name. Father, Oh, Father, we bow before You, thankful for the attentiveness of Your ear, eager for Your presence, bold to come before You in faith, remorseful as we present our sins in penitence.

Bless us with the forgiveness bought with the precious blood of Jesus, with its only requirement, our duplication of the same grace upon those who have transgressed upon us. How like a true, just and righteous God, that even in the very testimony of our salvation are the seeds of another’s. Praise You Father.  God of Justice, Grace and Mercy.

Father we rise in praise this day, an earthly choir with heavenly intent. May we face the trials, temptations and struggles of this day with the Joy of Prayer in our hearts, Praise on our lips, Worship in our works. May our service in the world be done as works of excellence unto Your glory, regardless of the importance of the task.

May we be a bastion of defense, a sanctuary of safety, a hospital of healing for the helpless, sin stricken, temptation torn, abused, tormented and broken hearted.  Send us Lord, meek as doves, wise as serpents, into this evil world, let us receive, rescue and restore Your chosen remnant that we may have an offering, pleasing.

Father, at the end of this day may we retire, spent in the fulfillment of service, yoked to You. May we enjoy in the Spirit, a sweet slumber to rise yet another day to once again serve You, all this we pray, presenting before Your throne of authority, in the name of Jesus and by the power of His blood, amen.
