A Prayer of the Day

Father, Oh Father, Hallowed and Holy is Your name. We enter your courts with thanksgiving, with praise from our hearts to our lips. Thou art the good, great and glorious God.

We bow before You bearing our sins, our transgressions and trespasses against our fellow man and ultimately against You. We pray Your forgiveness as Thou are a mercy God, The God of unlimited, unmerited Grace, blessing us in the washing of the blood, favoring us with Your regal robe of righteousness, we the blessed sheep of Your pasture, as You are ever the faithful Pastor.

We rise in the newness of the day, ready to achieve and accomplish Your will. Seeking Your mercy Father for those caught in the throes of despair, in a land ravished by earthquake. We rebuke, bind and cast out every evil spirit that would hinder the work of those sent to rescue, recover, heal, help, and restore order to a land that has felt the ravages of the Destroyer. We claim the survivors for the kingdom of God, that they be fertile ground for the Word of God unto salvation.

With a mighty hand, might every worker be amazed by miraculous occurrences of the supernatural intervention of You, Father, into the saving of natural lives, with the effect of leading them to a saving knowledge of You. Knowing You do all things well, may the logistics of  the delivery of survival supplies be taken care of in such a timely fashion that all witnessing the ensuing events will find cause to recognize and acknowledge the mighty hand of Jehovah. Hallelujah!

Father may You honor our prayers this day as we present them before Your throne of authority, in the name of Jesus and by the power of His blood, amen.
