A Prayer of the Day

Father, God, Holy God, Creator and Ruler of the Heavens and the Earth. Wonderful, Righteous and Holy is Thy name.

Father we bow with a penitent heart, remorseful of the intents of our imaginations, repenting of our sins and iniquities, those known and unknown, begging Your forgiveness Lord of those things in which we have missed the mark.

Father we come in anticipation of the washing of the blood of Jesus, submitting to Your rod of correction and discipline. You Father are Great and Good, better than Awesome! We receive forgiveness and cleansing with thanksgiving and praise, forever in Your gratitude.

Father we thank you for the body of Christ and those with whom we share fellowship, that we can come to one another trusting and bearing the burdens of our souls, one to another, and thus overcome in truth the weaknesses of the flesh together. What a friend we have in Jesus, extended unto the fellowship of the saints.

Father we thank You for the precious communion of the Holy Spirit Who intercedes on our behalf, empowering us, healing us, directing us and comforting us. Oh, Glory! Father we thank You that Your sons and daughters of the Kingdom of God walk in victory shouldering up our crosses, suffering and sacrificing unto eternal life.

We thank you for the abundant life, proven in our trials and tribulations and our goings through. We do proclaim victory in Jesus! So Father as we run our races, and finish the course, we know there is stored up for us in glory a crown of righteousness for them who love His appearing. Maranatha, Come my Lord, Come!

Father be attentive to our prayers and petitions as the approaching of the Day of the Lord draws near. May there be an attendant rain of Holy Spirit unction and anointing that would be greater than the very first days of Pentecost. We present our prayer before Your throne of authority, in the name of Jesus and by the power of His blood, amen.
