Father we look to You from whence our help comes, in our darkest hour, in the depths of despair, pain and sorrow, when all have deserted us and loneliness overcomes us, when even human strength is at an end and all our efforts are fruitless, when even hope seems to have taken a holiday, when emotion and feelings have left us empty, and the substance of our life is but a vacuum, when all is bankrupt, meaningless and worthless, when there is nothing, no one, no place, to turn, it is then LORD that we can lean upon the surety of Your Word, we can find solace and a rest in You, companionship and friendship in the Holy Spirit, for no servant is greater than his Master, and upon the Cross, You, knew loneliness, abandonment, the depths of despair and sorrow, pain and suffering, and You endured unto death, a sure example for us that would follow.
Father, in light of so great a price of Salvation, we beg Your forgiveness of all of our sins, and receive of Your Faithful Forgiveness the blessed absolution and washing in the Blood of Jesus. In repentance and remorse, we express our joy and jubilation in thanksgiving, praise and worship for the extension of Your unlimited tender mercies and amazing grace.
Father, we thank You for the trials and afflictions which are but an education and school of preparation for the great works of Salvation You have intended and purposed for us from the foundations of the universe. You have built us as a tabernacle, a sanctuary, a temple of the Holy Spirit, a house of prayer, a home and residence for the Glory of God, and we shall be a praise and worship offering unto the LORD, an eternal and everlasting expression of Your great LOVE! Hallelujah!
Father, we thank You for our daily bread, the living bread, the manna of heaven, and the living water, the air that we breathe, the bright sunshine, the pouring rains, shelter from the storms, covering and warmth in the face of wind and snow.
Father, we thank You for every blessing of Your bountiful Providence, too many and numerous to name, yet we are more than grateful, and our attitude is one of great gratitude, forever exalting Your name on high.
Father, in closing we ask You to bless and honor all the prayers of the Saints this day, and most especially our prayers of intercession, as we present them before Your throne of mercy, grace and peace, eternal in the heavens, in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach, The Prince of Peace, The Bright and Shining Star, The Rose of Sharon, The Lily of the Valley, The Lion of the Tribe of Judah, The All Mighty One of Israel, and by the forever potent power of His Blood, amen.
